The fifth and sixth limbs of Yoga are Pratyahara (withdrawing the senses) and Dharana (focusing the mind). We use these practices to begin to draw the attention more inward, releasing our strong connection or attachment to that which is outside of ourselves.

The seventh and eight limbs are where we bring it all together and learn meditative absorption (Dhyana) and understand the concept of enlightenment (Samadhi).
